Private Aulton Cressman was born on Jun. 12th 1892, in Breslau, Ontario. He was Mennonite.
He enlisted at Berlin, Ontario on Dec. 23rd 1915, and served in the 118th battalion. He was later transferred to the 256th battalion, which then became the 10th battalion of Canadian Railway Troops, Canadian Expeditionary Force.
After the war he returned to Waterloo, Ontario and married Elizabeth Bast on Feb. 25th, 1926. He later moved to Hamilton, Ontario. He died in 1966 and was buried in London, Ontario.
His next of kin are Moses Cressman (father) and Lovina Snyder (mother).
