A black and white photograph of two unidentified women sewing shoes. The women are seated in chairs and sit at opposite ends of the table. The woman on the left is holding a shoe. Her right arm and hand are obscured by a mark on the photograph. The woman on the right is holding a needle in her right and a shoe in her left. On the table, there are several pairs of shoes. In the background, two hats and cloaks look to be hanging on hooks on the wall behind the table.
George Trussler operated a photographic studio in Berlin, Ontario, from approximately 1888-1890. His studio was located in Mackie's Block.
The image is in poor condition. There is water damage on the left hand side, which obscures the view of the woman on the left side of the table.
