Ina Eby, the addressee, was the daughter of Ezra Eby and Mary Ann Clemmer. She was born on 24 January 1884 in Bridgeport, Ontario. She worked as a sample maker in the White Wear factory in Berlin, according to the 1911 Census of Canada. She lived at 40 Chapel Street with her parents and was a member of the Zion Evangelical United Brethren Church. Ina died, at the age of 72, on 18 February 1956, at her home, 25 Bingeman St., Kitchener. She is buried at First Mennonite Cemetery.
