A black and white postcard showing a series of individual portraits of the members of 1916 Union Jack Hockey Club (Junior Ontario Hockey Association Runners Up - Champions Western and Northern Ontario, 1916). There are 13 individual portraits arranged in rows around the team's crest which shows a bulldog rampant on a Union Jack flag. The motto on the crest reads: "Staunch and True" The portraits are identified below each player's image.
The portraits are identified, left to right, as follows:
Top row - Pte. I. Masters, R. Defence, C. Childs, Goal - Pte. F. Selke, Manager; Pte. A. Stewart, C. Defence; S. Brown, L. Defence.
Middle row - Wm. Roberts, Sec'y-Treas., Corp A. Schnarr, Rover; A. Shirk, Capt. and Centre; F. Snyder, President.
Bottom row - J. Krug, R. Wing; E. Poll, Trainer, Pte. R. Stewart, U. Forward; I. Erb, L. Wing.
The Union Jack team was a member of the Berlin City Hockey League.
