Alfred was born 20 Jul 1892 in London, England and was a laborer at 1915 in Galt. Later in 1919 he married his long time love Emily Dimmock. Dying in 1969 he with his wife are buried in Trinity Anglican Cemetery in Cambridge. Marriage Registration: 25305-1919 Alfred Charles Allen, 27, Farmer, res. Galt, b. England, son of Alfred Allen and Annette Plastow married Emily Dimmock, 21, res. Galt, b. Allen, Alfred G. Private. Was attached to 29th Regiment and enlisted with the 111th Battalion at Galt, November 18, 1915. He was born in England and his next of kin is Emily Dimmock, 23 Grantham Ave., Galt, Ontario.
