Black and white exterior photograph of the front of the home of John Bramm, Weber Street, Kitchener, Ontario. It is believed to have been the first brick house built in Kitchener.
It is a single-story dwelling with two small windows on either side of the front door. The house appears to be somewhat dilapidated and unoccupied.
John Bramm was Berlin's first brickmaker, starting his factory in 1845, the year he arrived from Germany.
The house was probably built in the 1850s or '60s. It was demolished in 1926.
This photograph is in good condition; but the image appears slightly out of focus.
