Pte. Betty Ayres, daughter of Mrs. and Mrs. George Ayres, 150 Norfolk avenue,
enlisted last November with the C.W.A.C. and has been stationed at Kitchener.
A brother, George, is a signaller with the lst Btn. H.L.I. of C. overseas. Betty
Ayres, 18 years of age, went to Dickson and Central schools in Galt. During the
First Great War, her father served with the 5th C.R.T.'s.
