Cpl. Herbert Alfred Eagle, son of Mr. and Mrs. Rueben Eagle, King St., Preston, is on
active service with No. 11 Provost Company. His wife and son live in Windsor. Cpl. Eagle
enlisted Oct. 19, 1940. He was born in Preston and he received his schooling there at the
public school. Before enlisting he was employed at the Savage Shoe Co. An uncle served in
the last war. He attends the Lutheran church.
