Enlisted as a private with 16th Batt. 2nd C.E.F. on October 29, 1914. in Galt.
Baptist.
He was born and educated in Midland and unmarried.
He was killed in action at Courcelette. Sept. 15, 1916 and buried at Martin-Puich, France.
His mother, Mrs. Clement Chatten, lives in Midland, Ontario.
He served thirteen months before he was killed.
