Sergent Armée Francaise.
Was a French reservist and went at the call to arms.
He was living in Hespeler at the time of enlisting.
We won the Croix de Guerre. (2 citations)
Enlisted February 26, 1916 with the 5th Colonial Infantry and transferred in Sept, 1918 to Franch Military Mission Arkangel, North Russia.
He served 38 months at the front, was wounded April 13, 1917 at Chemin-des-dames.
His Croix de Guerre has one bronze and one gold star. He also received the Russian Military Medal of Order of St. Ann.
At present he is a student in Theology at the Presbyterian College, Montreal.
