He served for a time with the Royal Navy but enlisted with the 118th Battalion at Kitchener, November 2, 1915.
He has returned in April 1919 to his wife and son and lives at 48 Locust St., Kitchener.
He was born in England.
He enlisted August 12, 1914 with the Navy and was attached to the Niobe. He served on the Atlantic Patrol until Oct. 27, 1915.
He reenlisted November 2, 1915 with the 118th Battalion and was promoted to C.S.M. He went overseas with the 118th Battalion and reverted to the ranks in order to go to France.
He served in France with the Canadian Engineers.
Of English birth, he was educated at Loughborough Grammar School, etc.
He married in Canada Miss Agnes Annie Green.
