Maynard, Frederick John
Sergeant.
Enlisted with 111th Battalion and served with the 52nd Battalion as a stretcher bearer in France.
On October 26, 1917, although himself wounded, he rendered invaluable aid to casualties in the attack on Bellevue Spur when exposed to heavy fire by the enemy. For this action he was awarded the Military Medal.
He is married and his home is at Ayr, Ontario.
Enlisted at Galt, November 11, 1915.
