Enlisted March 21, 1916 with 55th Battery. Transferred to 20th Battery.
Protestant.
Born in Kitchener, Ontario, October 11, 1895.
Educated at Suddaby School and Kitchener Collegiate and Technical Institute.
He was discharged January 21, 1919 and is now living with his parents at 46 Brubacher St., Kitchener.
Trained at Guelph and Petawawa and went overseas September 1916.
Went to France March 20, 1917.
Took part in battles of Vimy Ridge, Hill 70, Lens, Passchendaele, Arras and was wounded on the first day of the big push at Amiens, August 8, 1918.
