Private.
Enlisted with 111th Battalion of South Waterloo and went to France with one of the first drafts from that unit.
Born in the Township of Koeppel, Ontario.
He worked at the Goldie McCulloch North Works, Galt before enlisting.
He was a married man and his wife has been living with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John West, Chalmers Street, Galt.
He is presumed to be dead as on May 8, 1917 he was reported killed in action and on April 13 he was reported missing. Nothing has been heard of him since that time.
